Bird Island
A well known tourist attraction on the island of Saipan, Bird Island Sanctuary is home to thousands of birds and other marine species. A short walk down stairs from the parking area, you’ll find yourself standing on a high cliff overlooking the vast blue ocean and Bird Island. There are also additional paths to explore where you can see Bird Island from ground level for a truly breathtaking experience.
The Grotto
The Grotto is a stunning and impressive natural underwater limestone cavern that reaches some 70 feet below the sea at its deepest point. Considered one of the best cavern-dive spots in the world, its wealth of underwater life—including turtles, parrotfish, many hard and soft corals and colorful nudibranchs—makes it hugely popular with snorkelers and swimmers, too.
Managaha Island
This coral islet sitting in Saipan's lagoon is a mini-paradise with a fascinating history and amazing views. Snorkelling, scuba diving and sightseeing are all popular here. Just don't forget to pack some sunscreen!
